What makes you want the sky so much
The tint of sunrise red
Or orange in the sunset
The palette of blue and purple
And white cloud beds
Why everyday you inspect the sky
And not see the beauty in you that lies
That every shade that changes the sky
Lies nowhere else but in your eyes
But you keep searching light in the cracks of dawn and dusk
you seek light in the corners of the infinity and beneath the clouded husk
But dear, you don't know what light you impart
That light you seek resides in your heart
That every single sky you see is just a part
Of all the skies you are
The tint of sunrise red
Or orange in the sunset
The palette of blue and purple
And white cloud beds
Why everyday you inspect the sky
And not see the beauty in you that lies
That every shade that changes the sky
Lies nowhere else but in your eyes
But you keep searching light in the cracks of dawn and dusk
you seek light in the corners of the infinity and beneath the clouded husk
But dear, you don't know what light you impart
That light you seek resides in your heart
That every single sky you see is just a part
Of all the skies you are
